Still Alive

I went to my blog this afternoon and realized I hadn't kept up with posting much lately. Too much life happening is my excuse, and I'm sticking to that story.

Health issues and some personal problems just get priority over yelling into the wilderness.

I watched a little bit of the Inauguration of the (A)obomaNation, Lord help us all.
I really HOPE that Mr. Obama surprises me and turns out to be a good President, but some of the remarks in his Inauguration speech indicates the CHANGE he wishes to institute will be the death of the Republic and the beginning of the new American Oligarchy.

The similarities between the present day and the beginning of the fall of the Roman Republic into the tyranny of the Roman Empire are just too chilling to be comfortable for anyone that believes in personal Liberty. It seems that it really is true that those that don't learn history really are doomed to repeat it.

I'm just going to try to hide among the sheeple and see if I survive the coming storm until the time comes to throw off the disguise and attempt in some small way to be one of the sheepdogs trying to return the Nation back to Liberty.

3 In the last year I have dealt with learning I have type II diabetes, finanacial loss, a bad mammogram, a biopsy, and resulting surgery (I'm fine now) and most reciently job loss. I know what you are going through. There are times when I go for days, just not feeling like throwing my fits online. Keep heart Delftsman, as I have you in my prayers now. :-) Take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
