Seems that civilization in Europe is much older than previously thought, with Paleolithic structures that rival the pyramids and Stonehenge, but predate them by at least two millenia.

It might be argued that civilization hasn't returned to the area since the collapse of that Neolothic culture, but thats just one snide POV....
