As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will install a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a “fair shake.”
2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.
3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.” We will not participate in this “pooling” experienc because the law doesn't apply to us.
4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it's workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all.”
5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's “good to spread the wealth.” Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more
“patriotic.”
6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free foodstamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flatscreen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!
If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.
We are well on the path to becoming the USSA, and the video above lays out the roadmap to that goal as clear as Rand/ McNalley showed me the way to Streator Ill. for the Rott-fest.
It's time for the sheeple to wake up and let the guard dogs loose, lest they become the main course of the feast the radical left desires.

The Obama File
I received the following opinion page from a friend of mine.
It was written by a Mr. Beckwith, about whom I am totally ignorant of, but having read his Opinion, I find there to be much food for thought.
It is a Loooooong piece, but well worth the time to read. I put the page in it's entirety under the fold as it seems that many anti-Obama pages just seem to "disappear" suddenly, and I felt the questions raised were important to raise in the general awareness of the population (yeah, BOTH of you who read me, LOL).
Don't believe a word of it just because it is presented as fact, but use it as a basis of your own research on the man that may very well become our POTUS and CiC. Check your own gut as you do your research and I think you may find, as I did, a great deal that is valid cause for great concern.
Above all, remember that it is your DUTY as a citizen to try to become as informed as possible on ALL the candidates and the major issues. ONLY by being informed can you cast a truly responsible vote. The fate of our Republic is in OUR hands, it behooves every one of us to excercise due diligence in that responsibility.
I know that a great many of you are too busy or are just too damned lazy to read anything more involved than the comics, so I excerpted here an abreviated starting point for you to invoke some thought:
Obama has lived for 48 years without leaving any footprints -- none! There is no Obama documentation -- no paper trail -- none.
Original birth certificate -- Not released
Obama/Dunham marriage license -- Not released
Soetoro/Dunham marriage license -- Not released
Soetoro adoption records -- Not released
Besuki School application -- Released
Punahou School records -- Not released
Selective Service Registration -- Released
Occidental College records -- Not released
Passport (Pakistan) -- Not released
Columbia College records -- Not released
Columbia thesis -- Not released
Harvard College records -- Not released
Harvard Law Review articles -- None (maybe 1, unsigned?)
Baptism certificate -- None
Medical records -- Not released
Illinois State Senate records -- None
Illinois State Senate schedule -- Lost
Law practice client list -- Not released
University of Chicago scholarly articles -- None
It is SUPPOSED to be the provence of the Press to bring the answers to the questions raised by the lack of records above; if you take nothing else out of this excercize, ask yourself: WHY haven't the members of the Fourth Estate done their jobs in regard to Mr. Obama?
Look at their 'reporting' regarding the election with an open and honest mind, and it becomes blatently obvious that they have become water carriers for one side of the contest; indeed they are not reporting, they are campaigning. This fact is even more ominous than the candidate, for without fair, open reporting, how is the electorate to make a truly reasoned decision?
That said, sit back, relax with a cup of your favorite beverage, and prepare to start your homework.

Public Allies has a network that is immense. They have public funded monies of incredible amounts. they recruit for workers to do out of state "Get out the vote (for B O&O'B). I think that the young they encourage will, in just ten years, be a formidable force for his National Security Forces. If history has proven what happens next, will we see the rise of a super ambitious inter-agency group that will rival anything the Stalinists or Chi-Coms have had internally or globally?

Rant of the WeekBlack is White, a fellow member of the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler has written an open letter to BHusseinO that is a must read for all that still have two neurons working together. (and maybe a few more enlightened Democrats as well)
Dear Barry,
(You don't mind if I call you Barry, do you? Yes, I know its somewhat disrespectful, but then you haven't shown me, or the rest of the American electorate much respect during this campaign season either, so you can consider it "what comes around". You served, and I have no doubt you will return this volley.)
I have watched your campaign, and observed you continuing to say the most outrageous things, as if you had every right to say it, and as if I was obligated to believe it. From campaign speeches promising a conversion experience-like epiphany, where I the voter will see the light, and cast my vote for you, then look back to the date of your election as the date when the oceans stopped rising and the earth started to heal itself. From stump speeches where your always shouting wife is quick to inform us that you will never let us live our lives the same way again, or that she has never been proud of this country until you decided to run for POTUS. I've watched when as you have denied knowing friends and associates, many of whom hate everything this country stands for, and feel entitled to change it to their liking, whether or not the rest of us want them to, and I have watched your surrogates act like thugs, following your lead with silly attempts to restrict campaign speech with clumsy attempts to get the DOJ to intimidate those who dare to question the veracity of the treasures issuing from your lips. I have watched you lie. Lie about who your friends are. Lie about fighting to deny basic medical care to children who survive their mother's attempts to have them killed (And yes, that record is one you have not been able to flush down the memory hole.) I have watched you reveal your true agenda when answering a question from a man you asked for a vote, and I watched you and your surrogates turn on this same man, a private citizen. A private citizen representative of so many whom you have asked for a vote. And all because you cannot be honest about the truth of your tax plan. This has not gone unnoticed.
Like you, I am lawyer by trade. Unlike you, I actually practice law and represent real people, including small business people. These people, like me, see right through your tax plan. They know that small businesses can and do make $250,000.00 annually. They know that increased taxes will reduce their ability and, more importantly their incentive to hire more people, so that those people can earn money of their own and support their own families. Mocking these people, the ones that actually make America work is not the smartest campaign strategy. And the more people realize that these taxes are going to hurt employers, the more people will realize that these tax increases will affect them in many ways, perhaps the most insidious being that these costs will be passed on to the consumer, who unlike you, Senator Government, cannot just print more whenever they need it.
We, the John Galts of America, see you for what you are. You know exactly what you are doing, and what effect it will have. Yet you continue to lie to us. What name is the Arabic version of "Janus"? Perhaps it is the name you should have chosen for your middle name. We will fight, until the bitter end, to expose you as the manure merchant you are, and as the clear and present danger you represent. We are more than you think, and too numerous for you to silence or intimidate. You arrogantly underestimate us, and our dedication to this country and way of life that rewards hard work and the advantageous use of the opportunities this country provides. You insult us, and expect us to stand by like the sheeple you spellbind with your confident and glittering generalities, while you scheme and plot to rob our children of their legacy and birthright. Keep lying, Barry. Keep going. You are going to a have a tough time giving away money when no one works to pay your taxes. But I think you know that. We John Galts do not question your patriotism. We know you do not have any. When given the opportunity to explain yourself, you have handily demonstrated that you have no understanding of this country or its heritage, and that is why you can barely keep your contempt for it concealed. Here's a news flash, Barry: We don't like you either. You are an arugula and brie munching ivory tower intellectual, who cynically trains the masses how to be aggressive and vocal professional malcontents, then retire to your posh home in the tony Chicago suburbs to meet in the living room of your unrepentant terrorist neighbors, who realized that they had to subvert the youth and the culture before you could install yourselves as the enlightened betters of the grubby masses, with all the power and perks that come along with the position. First you had to dumb down entire generations, change the dialogue by making people's feelings more important that the subjects discussed. Words were made taboo. Everyone had to be given a distinct individual and group identity that made their own interests less than that of the overarching national identity. Diversity had to trump merit and excellence. Mediocrity in a vertical mosaic supplanted excellence in a melting pot.
Yes, Barry. We know you for who you are. We recognize the seeds of division which have been carefully sewn for a few generations now, and we know that you still underestimate the determination of the real America, and not the ersatz, 70's era socialistic America you seem determined to foist upon us. And we are certain that you will not enjoy the crop you are positioning yourself to harvest. Enjoy the adoration that the media lavishes you with right now. They are a fickle lot, and not all of them will be silent when they realize what you have sold them. But then, that really will be the least of your worries.
Question
An E-mail friend of mine sent me the following question that shows the disconnect of the average Liberal GFW, and I really would like to know the answer...how about it Karlo ?, Diane?, anyone?
One simple question:
"If you really believe that the U.S. is turning into a police state, why do you want to deprive the people of the one tool that the
founding fathers provided for just that purpose, namely, resisting
tyranny?" (emp. mine- D)
1
I assume you're taling about guns. I may be wrong about guns. Maybe they're good and we should all have them. Since there won't be any effective gun control, I suppose it doesn't much matter. At the same time, I don't believe for a second that guns will do anything against tyranny. It's no accident that Iraqis are using IEDs and suicide attacks against US troops in Iraq. Guns (and especially pistols) don't do very well against tanks and guided missiles. They're much better for holding up liquor stores than for fighting battles. Actually, the guns that are useful for fighting wars aren't the ones under dispute. These peripheral issues aside, we've had a Republican president for the last 8 years and a Republican Congress for much of that time and we've got the greatest expansion of government this country has probably ever seen and the greatest incursion on Constitutional rights that the country has ever witnessed except for perhaps during the Civil War period (a time which must be considered a bit exceptional). And you're for Palin and McCain (who wants to freeze everything but the military)?! When this country gives up its freedoms, it will be because it ran its economy into the ground supporting a military empire and hand-outs to billionaires. It won't be because it was missing the latest fancy missile system or because someone couldn't buy a pistol with bullets designed to pierce policemen's vests. Did you hear that 70 billion of the 700 billion bail-out has already gone to bonuses for CEOs etc. of bankrupt companies? And we're supposed to get riled because Obama wants to "spread the wealth around"? Personally, I'm sick of trickle-up theory and people telling me that Iraqi commandoes will soon be storming California beaches. The rightwing delusion requires many hours of staring intently at Fox News in order to be maintained. I evidently haven't spent enough time.

Why do Americans tend to own firearms?
Why is this "right to bear arms" actually included in their Constitution?
Why do a minority of Americans violently and hatefully oppose this Constitutional right?
First of all, let's realize something: simply owning (and carrying) a firearm does not mean that the person who owns / carries it is going to use it on everyone they meet.
Gun "control" (it really means "abolishment") advocates are not afraid of the person who owns the gun. They are afraid of the gun itself. It is a phobia, plain and simple.
Some gun "control" advocates have much more sinister motives: they are engaged in a "power over" move .... they want political power (or more political power) and realize that private ownership of firearms places the firearms owner on an equal level with the police and military. If they can outlaw firearms, then the -real- political power lies with those who run the police / military, not with the private citizens.
And these kinds of "power over" games smell of a totalitarian mind-set. Call it Facism, call it Communism, call it Liberal Neo-Facist, call it what you will, it still stinks.
When the so-called "Saturday night specials" (a demonizing name for inexpensive handguns) were banned, the poor of American cities could no longer afford self-protection, and thus have come under the power of the police; they have become beholden to the good graces (and personal opinions) of their local law enforcement and must keep them happy or face abandonment to the crime lords and gangs ..... and since the gangs have the weapons, the gangs are now in effective control of many poor neighborhoods in the USA.
When the firearm is regarded as a -tool- and not as a magical emblem of power, those who own them tend to be careful and remain within the law. When firearms are regarded as a "macho" symbol; as a magical means of gaining manhood simply by owning one, they are inevitably misused.
And when TRAINING in firearms safety and proper (and safe) handling is part of the child's growing years, the children tend to become law-abiding, good citizens where it applies to firearms.
But whenever it is proposed that firearms safety training be offered in schools, the Liberals rise up en mass and squawk, against all evidence, that it will only contribute to the problem. Their opposition to these safety courses is better understood if you realize that it is to their advantage that firearms be misused. They WANT to ban firearms because they want MORE POWER, and every instance of a child, not trained in safety, who is killed or injured thru misuse of a firearm adds to their agenda.
Guns don't cause crime, and criminals will not obey firearms laws.
But the average citizen will, and THAT LEAVES THEM HELPLESS against the criminal.
Mr. Liberal, is that what you want? Do you want such a rise in crime, at a time when violent crime in the USA is DROPPING, that you can "point with alarm" and pass even more laws to control the citizens?
You see, the Bill of Rights, of which the Second Amendment is one, guarentees certain things to the citizens of the USA.
But they all are dependent, when push comes to shove, on the Second Amendment. Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Assembly .... ALL of them. With no Second Amendment, then the Bill of Rights effectively becomes null and void. There is no way to enforce it.
Mr. Liberal, is THAT what you are after?
I pray to God it is not so, but all history shows otherwise.

Don't sweat Karlo the meme parsing left-bot.
His views are of no consistent thought or meaningful substance.
Did you hear that 70 billion of the 700 billion bail-out has already gone to bonuses for CEOs etc. of bankrupt companies? And we're supposed to get riled because Obama wants to "spread the wealth around"? Personally, I'm sick of trickle-up theory
What you see here is his spinning mental maelstrom with no web-links to his blathering talking points.
Hey 'K', where did ya' get dem figgers?
Both B O and O'Biden have mentioned some whacked out trickle up economic principle recently and karlo thinks it's a Palin/McWho/Repug/Militaryindustrialcomplexneoconillumminati juggernaut that's to blame for it.
What a tool.
What a lemming, (one can hope) who will follow the rest of the left over the cliff of hopelessness and change, to give us a fighting chance in a world gone mad.

You forgot to mention that she looks good in a swimsuit. It's really hard to take any of this very seriously. Palin a national security expert? Because she gets briefed? Good grief. A person could toss a rock in any crowd and hit someone with more experience.

As compared to Obama, who has...erm...uhhh...hmmmm.... Just WHAT has he done, Karlo? He has a lower security clearence than Sarah, so no,HE doesn't get those same security briefings, even as a candidate.
I wouldn't sling the "inexperienced" charges around too loudly Karlo, for they will inevitably turn around and bite you square in the ASS.
Oh,yeah,Obama is the one who worked in the same building on the same floor and on the same boards of projects with a certain unrepentant terrorist and then claims that he "never really had much to do the guy". (Oh, and I was 8 when he committed those acts....even though he PUBLICLY said only 2 years ago that "he wish he had done more") I didn't know his past.
Ayres, Dohrn,Rezco,Wright, Campaigning in Kenya for an avowed Socialist politician, now accused with genocide....etc, etc,etc...by his associations will you know him.

Why can't we just be honest and say that Palin and Obama don't have much experience--Palin having even less than Obama. Who cares? When just about everyone in Washington is corrupt, why would we want experience. The problem isn't the lack but rather the ridiculous attempt to manufacture experience out of thin air (very cold, thin air).
Posted by: Karlo at October 20, 2008 09:00 PM (d3ObA)

"Palin having MORE than Obama."
There, fixed your statement factually, KARLO, I know you want to be accurate.
I agree with you about the corruption in Washington, and thats ANOTHER reason to vote for Palin over Obama; Obama has closer ties to Washington than Palin; EVEN disregarding that he is a product of the Chicago Daly political machine; which has made Chicago a symbol for political corruption. (The city where the dead continue to vote Democratic for decades after internment) Palin fought against her own party machine in Alaska..and WON. THAT is experience we should vote for.
Posted by: Delftsman3 at October 20, 2008 10:46 PM (wt/Ku)

I think she's a bit of a Sarah-come-lately when it comes to the fighting of corruption, opposing projects only after it becomes politically expedient to do so. On the other hand, Alaska seems to be so rife with corruption these days that taking a step in any direction is likely to lead one of the corpse of a recently fallen politico.

PAWNED !
Barrack has been outed as an illegitimate candidate...by his own wife. The story is from the API (African Press International), and here is the money quote:
"I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner"; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.” (emp. mine)
Mrs. Obama is incorrect...IF Barrack HUSSEIN Obama (or should it really be Barrack H. SOETORO?). was adopted by a foreign national, he LOST HIS U.S. CITIZENSHIP at that time, and the only way to regain it would be to be re-naturalized; either way, he would be ineligible to run for POTUS. It isn't a matter of "where his heart lies", it is a matter of LAW.
By Michelle Obama's reasoning, I would make a great candidate for President; after all I LOVE this country with a passion bordering on the fanatical; I served in her Armed Service (UNLIKE "Barry"), and I've never been convicted of a crime against her laws, Federal or State...the fact that I was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands? Just a 'mistake of geography' I rectified at the earliest possible moment.
Mrs. Obama's racist mindset is clearly evident in her conversation with API when she says :
“African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view."
OH? , I thought the purpose of the Press was to unbiasedly inform the public of the news of the day, silly me, I should know that they are really supposed to forward a certain agenda...
And
“it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father..."
No, there is no shame in being adopted by an alien citizen, but it DOES impose some legal repercussions...like being ineligible to be POTUS..
Do the American people REALLY want a person like Michelle Obama representing them as First Lady? More Importantly, do they want a now proven liar to be their President and CiC? (President Clinton notwithstanding, at least he waited until AFTER he was elected to perjure himself...)
The Obama camp is trying to bully the API into not releasing the tapes of the conversation; and they have stated that there 'is no truth to any of the assertions made about BHO's eligibility status'.
But when asked to PROVE that status in a Federal Court case, they refuse to release the proof, instead spending hundreds of thousands of dollars (in what I presume to be campaign funds -- YOUR donations -- all you Obamaidiots) in delaying tactics.
It would take a day and $20. in fees to obtain the necessary legal documents, and all the allegations could be put to rest and the allegers be made to look foolish, yet they spend time and money trying to prevent discovery...there is only ONE reason to do so and that is that there IS something to hide.
Even if it's not something as serious as the allegations raised, do we REALLY want to elect a person who feels so threatened by a truth being revealed that they will go to such lengths to prevent it from being brought into the open?
1
Where did you hear that kids lose their citizenship? Don't children retain citizenship until they're 18 (and they must decide) no matter what happens? And if he lost his citizenship, what country was he a citizen of? This is all very silly stuff.

Karlo:
Section 349 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1481)((Sec. 349 (a) (1) INA)
1. obtaining naturalization in a foreign state (Sec. 349 (a) (1) INA); is immediate for loss of citizenship.
Barry ObaMA WAS ADOPTED UNDER INDONESIAN LAW BY LOLO Soeroto., Hence his US Citizenship was abrogated. He could only regain his status as a citizen by RE-Naturalization, and is ineligible for the office of POTUS.
THE "Retention of citizonship until age 18" ONLY applies to those children born of US Citizens on foreign soil; they have until age 18 to declare their preference, until then they carry dual citizionship in those countries that allow same.
IF they do not declare preference, they become citizens of the country of BIRTH.
Technically, I believe Obama is (possibly)either a citizen of KENYA (birth) or (most likely)INDONESIA (via adoption).
I would agree that it really is a lot of silly stuff.
Obama could refute it extremely easily by producing the correct documents, but has chosen for his own reasons not to do so; instead spending thousands of dollars and man hours in federal court fighting even just the possibility of 'legal discovery', which is certainly his right but for someone asking for the position he has is most ...unusual, to put it politely.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of AIG stock one year ago, it would now be
worth $56.91.
With Washington Mutual, you would have $120.36 left of the original
$1000.
With 'Fannie Mae'(FNM), you would have $11.34 left.
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Lehman Bros one year ago it would now
be almost worthless; less than $0.86.
If you had purchased RH Donelley, you would have $45.69 left.
But, if you had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all
the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling refund you
would have $214.00.
Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink
heavily and recycle.

On the other hand, if you had been a CEO of one of these companies, you would have made half a billion and would have been handed a 10 million dollar bonus as you got fired (a bonus paid for by tax-payer dollars). This is called the 401-cognac plan.

I am probably MORE disgusted by the bailout than you are Karlo.
My feeling is that the Government intervention will cause a more trouble than even the corrupt CEO's.
Because of FDR, the Depression lasted at least twice as long as it would have otherwise, the only thing that ended it when it did under the policies extant under FDR was WW2 ; and we'd be a lot less socialistic than we are today.
The Free Market DOES work, Govt's. role SHOULD merely to be the arbiter of conflict between parties, NOT to be a direct participant. THAT is the way the Founders set it up, and it worked well up until the social engineers came into power and started to foul up the works.
The current crises is a fine example. GOV. REQUIRED lenders to provide loans to people that were not qualified for them (greaT VOTE-GETTING POLICY!)and backed up the loans with public money..and that worked until the number of defaulters became larger than the banks' ability to absorb the losses and called on the gov. guarentee in amounts that could no longer be hidden under Fanny and Freddy's cooked books.
We should just let the market adjust itself; ride out the year or so rough spot, and then remember to not go that route again.

Woman with two HUGE Boobs
I try to keep it a family safe blog here, so I don't usually post porn pics; but when I saw this picture of a woman with two of the HUGEST boobs I've ever seen, I just HAD to share it.
I did put it below the fold to protect those with delicate sensibilities.
Quote of the Day
“He who makes a beast of himself is rid of the pain of being a man.” Samuel Johnson
Frank Marshall Davis has written that: “under certain circumstances I am bisexual” and that he was “a voyeur and an exhibitionist” who was “occasionally mildly interested in sado-masochism”, adding: “I have often wished I had two penises to enjoy simultaneously the double – but different – sensations of oral and genital copulation.”"
And beasts such as Frank Marshall Davis are acknowledged as being "a great mentor in my life" by BHO.
So let's recap: Hussein claims a self-admitted child molester/sexual deviant (and admitted member of the CPUSA) as his "Mentor"; a racist Black Theology minister as his "Spiritual Advisor"; worked in close association for years with two unrepentant terrorists in William Ayers and his wife Elizabeth Dohrn, while pronouncing them "in the mainstream of public citizens, and finally, is engaged in multiple questionable business dealings with the likes of convicted slumlord Tony Rezco...YET there are STILL idiots out there that look at him as a "New Messiah" ?!?

Traitors"The Logan Act is a federal law that makes it a felony for any American citizen to attempt to negotiate with a foreign government or attempt to influence foreign policy without clear authority from the executive branch of the U.S. government."
It has long been the policy of the US political class that "politics ends at the water's edge"; in other words we don't air our political differences in foreign countries.
It's long been the policy UNTIL the "Most Ethical Congress eveh" that is.
I feel it's past time that the Logan Act be enforced and some of our "esteemed members" of the political class take up new residences in the graybar hotel for at least moderate periods of time.
First Nancy "Skelator" Pelosi tries her hand in negotiating with the terrorists in Syria...that's bad enough, but then B. HUSSEIN Obama tries to negotiate a timetable in a WAR ZONE. Both of these incidents were in direct contravention of the Logan Act.
Now it has become clear that Obama isn't satisfied with trying to institute a Socialist agenda here in the US; he also worked to forward the political aspirations of one of his relatives in Keyna, an avowed socialist (and now alleged engaged in genocide and murder of men, women, and children). Seems that Obama wasn't satisfied with campaigning here in his own baliwick; he felt confident enough to try to spread his message of Hopetitude and Changyness to other countries as well.
These politicians don't seem to think that the law applies to them, and if WE the People don't hold them to account, we are complicit in that attitude.
The Governement works for US; and as one of the "US" I hereby direct my employee, the Attorney General of the U.S., to institute charges against Nancy Pelosy and Barrack Hussein Obama for malfeasance in office by violation of the Logan Act. I request that these procedings be instituted as soon as humanly posible.
Will they listen to me? certainly not....but if you add your voice to mine and get others to add THEIR voices; it just may be that we will become loud enough to be be listened to. If nothing else, I have hereby registered MY refusal to be complicit with felons and their misdeeds and no longer feel bound to do anything they may direct.
Time to invest heavily in precious metals....copious amounts of lead and brass, to be specific.

You and I are thinking alike--naturally. At another and quite different site praising Obama for his intellect, this is part of what I wrote in my response comment.
"Obama is smart in that heÂ’s on the left when he needs the support of the left to get the nomination. HeÂ’s more to the center when he needs to win the election. What worries me is where is he going to be if he gets elected?"The main way to test the answer to that last question is to see what he has done before, what he has written, and with whom he has associated. Unfortunately, the answers to those questions are concealed by Obama coverups and lack of diligence by the press. We canÂ’t even see ObamaÂ’s college thesis, which, at least, would serve as some evidence of his unguarded phiosophies."
As past actions relate to character, the Democrats told us for years that character doesn't matter. It must not for a party that can only offer candidates with low character only.

clue-batting of the week
My friend Nicki of The Liberty Zone has a post up about the personal responsibility to protect oneself, in response to a 'letter to the editor' to her local paper by a GFW.
Do yourself a favor and go read how a REAL woman responds to a GFW moron.
Quote(s) of the Day
"I'll tell you what war is all about; you've got to kill people, and when you've killed enough they stop fighting." -- Gen. Curtis LeMay
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.” -- General George S. Patton
“All right, they're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us....they can't get away this time. [USMC,when surrounded by 8 enemy divisions during the Korean War.]” -- General 'Chesty' Puller
“Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.” -- Sir Winston Churchill
“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” -- John Stuart Mill
“The essence of war is violence. Moderation in war is imbecility.” -- John A. Fisher
“The world will never have lasting peace so long as men reserve for war the finest human qualities. Peace, no less than war, requires idealism and self-sacrifice and a righteous and dynamic faith.” -- John Foster Dulles
Always remember...
Next to ending nazism, slavery, fascism, and genocide; WAR never solved anything.
