* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different
language.
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day every
day.

I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans; I'm talking about our troops!
Doesn't it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing
to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support
our troops and are now threatening to defund them?

Further, Hillary was a LIAR even before joining up with Mr. "I-did-NOT-have-sex-with-that-woman" Clinton.
Just a taste:
Zeifman says he was urged by top committee members to keep a diary of everything that was happening. He did so, and still has the diary if anyone wants to check the veracity of his story. Certainly, he could not have known in 1974 that diary entries about a young lawyer named Hillary Rodham would be of interest to anyone 34 years later.
But they show that the pattern of lies, deceit, fabrications and unethical behavior was established long ago – long before the Bosnia lie, and indeed, even before cattle futures, Travelgate and Whitewater – for the woman who is still asking us to make her president of the United States.
One might argue that to be successful in politics it is an asset to be a proficient liar, or at least be comfortable with "flexible truth", but note that modifier "proficient"; Hillary is anything but proficient, she has been found out every time there has been any scrutiny of any of her less than straight dealings. It's only with a team of capable political machine of spin-masters and with a colluding MSM that she's escaped being pilloried in the past for her confabulations, because if she went down, the Progressives darling Bill went down with her.
It's a different ballgame now however, and as a certain Black (racist) Minister had observed in a different context, her "chickens have come home to roost".
While it really may be necessary to be flexible with the truth to be a successful politician in this day and age, it's still a necessity to be capable enough to not be caught out in blatant lies every time your actions are examined to remain successful as a politician, we still want the appearance of a "straight shooter" even as we acknowledge the fallibility of our elected leaders with regards to the truth.

much. Democrats took over in 2006 based on "change," a mantra echoed in
their current Presidential campaign slogans. But, perhaps we underestimated
those Republicans -- see below.
What a difference a new congress made.........
A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we've seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) the cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate
(stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!
Want more of their "change"???

I have posted before about my disgust at what has been happening in my former homeland, but this incident only serves to show what is in store for the U.S. if the People don't wake up and throw off the idiocy known as "Political Correctness" and "Multiculturalism".
It's too late for the Netherlands, but PLEASE heed the warning of their example before it's too late.

The parents of three families had gotten into the habit of taking their kids to the park after school twice a week to combat "video game spread"....there are stories every day about childhood obesity, and when some parents try to provide wholesome excersize; they get fined for it ?!?

In my twelve years of service as a LEO, there was one issue that (rightfully) arose on a fairly steady basis, and that issue concerned the use of force in effecting an arrest. On many occasions the public would make a great outcry when they had the perception that an Officer used greater force than was necessary. "The perpretrator was only armed with a 4" knife" they will say, "WHY did the officer feel it necessary to shoot and end up killing the suspect?"
It's easy for the armchair quarterback to pass judgement on an Officer's actions in the calm safety of his Barcalounger with a cold beer and potato chips close to hand and the game of the week playing on the 60 inch screen.
Having "been there, done that" (thankfully without a fatality), I can assure you from personal experience that when you are facing some crazy jackass that is NOT going to come in a peaceful manner; indeed, is willing to do just about ANYTHING to prevent you from taking him/her into custody, the situation can get ugly/deadly in the blink of an eye.
The photos below are of an officer highly trained trained in hand-to-hand combat.
The officer figured, due to his size and fighting skills, he could
disarm a knife wielding aggressor.
To all the idiots out there who always say, "Why did the cops have
to shoot him? He only had a (insert your choice of weapons here,
i.e . knife, bat, club. whatever). He didn't have to be shot.
To that, I respond, "tough crap".
If an officer tells you to drop your weapon, just drop it.
If you're a retard, stupid, on crack, mental or just "scared" ...too damned bad.
No one deserves what this cop got for just doing his job.
This is vivid proof of how deadly people who are "only armed with a
knife" can be. Some of the public think that officers should try to
disarm someone armed with a knife but anyone who has had training
in knife fighting will tell you - even if you win you are going to
get cut.
The perpretrator in this case got scared and ran away before he managed to kill the officer and was arrested at a later date.
Look at the pictures below the fold the next time that you are tempted to jump to a knee-jerk reaction against "excessive force", find out the facts and then try to put yourself in the same situation and ask yourself "what would I have done?".
WARNING!!! Explicit photos ...

That "normal" human beings can create such horror; it seems that we still have a long way to go before we can call ourselves truly civilized. The German people of the 30's and 40's weren't all that different than we are today. What frightens me is that call of 1945 that "We SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER " is being forgotten, indeed there are many factions that state that the Holocaust never occurred, or if it did, it was on a far smaller scale scale than is being presented by an ambigious "Jooooish Conspiracy".
People, I KNOW it happened. My father was a victim caught up in the horror of those days. He is my link to those days....and his main statement about those days is simple: that IT HAPPENED, and we MUST NEVER FORGET.
IF we forget, we are doomed to repeat it. Don't believe that "it can't happen here"; I'm sure that if you asked the average German in 1939 about a hypothetical Holocaust, he'd deny any possiblity of it occuring in his homeland.

It seems that El Jorge has made an end-run around the American people and pushed through the Mexican Truck Pilot Program without any fanfare to alert the general public. Mark R. Taylor, a contributor of the site Family Security Matters has an excellent article on why EVERY American should be concerned about this program. Mr. Taylor points out that, under this program, we have literaly opened the floodgates of illegal immigration, and that is the LEAST of the faults.
The MTPP is set to begin on Sept. 7, 2007. I thought that this travesty had been put to rest last year, but apparently, I was sorely mistaken.... it costs thousands of dollars to get the permits for Mexican trucking companies to operate in the U.S. ---- now, just WHERE do you think that these companies will get the operating capital to get those permits? In Mexico? Can you say "narco-dollars" ? And do you honestly believe that the drug lords will part with that capital to try to get into a legitimate business? IF you believe that, please E-mail me, I have a bridge I would really like to sell you.
Even without those criminal and security concerns, ask yourself, what happens to an industry when a large group of new players are willing to work for a third of the usual going rate? Ask the thousands of UAW EXworkers after the Japanese auto plants took over production here in the U.S. It's been nearly impossible for the Independant Trucker to make a living under the D.O.T. rules and the lowering of freight rates over the last 15 years or so. This program will now make it that much harder for the Freight companies themselves to be competitive too; remember, something like 90% of all goods are shipped via trucks - do you really think that such a vital part of our economy should be controlled by foreign entities?
We should all contact our representatives in Washington and tell them that we the People will NOT stand for the MTPP to be allowed to progress. The time is short, and we need to act NOW.
Patriots, the time has come to get the ammo out of storage and loaded into magazines. The time is very near to show those in Washington that they are our SERVANTS, NOT our masters, and WE the People have decided that our servants have abrogated the responsibities that we entrusted them with and they must be replaced, by force if necessary.

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed.
Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous
flow of free and easily accessible food.
But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above
the table, and next to the barbecue.
Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the
table...everywhere.
Then some of the birds turned mean:
They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of
my own pocket.
And others birds were boisterous and loud:
They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and
night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.
After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore.
I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone.
I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over
the patio.
Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...... quiet, serene and no one
demanding their rights to a free meal.
Now lets see....... our government gives out free food, subsidized housing,
free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be
an automatic citizen.
Then the illegal's came by the tens of thousands.
Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are
housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room
doctor: your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over
half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual
box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people
waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the
streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.
Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder?

I can already hear the the calls for newer and stricter gun control laws now...but wait, I believe that as a "school zone", the possession/use of a firearm on the campus was ALREADY illegal? Sure stopped that psychopath from killing those 30 innocents, didn't it?
"Let the Police handle it"....note the first sentence in the story :TWO HOURS elapsed between the first casualties in the dorm and the last victims in the classroom ACROSS CAMPUS. TWO HOURS, GREAT work guys, had to wait on that special order of doughnuts to be baked before you responded to a "shots fired" call? Oh, yeah, they did send out an E-mail, warning students to stay indoors at around the same time that the second round of shootings was beginning.
Just imagine...had at least one student or R.A. in the Johnston Dorm been armed; the outcome could have been very different, say maybe "only" three dead (including the Perp) instead of 31; still a tragedy, yes, but on a far smaller scale.
The Sarah Brady's of the world always declaim concealed carry and general ownership of weapons as a "recipe for a bloodbath", with the blood flowing in the streets, well Sarah, your school property carry prohibition literally did make for blood flowing in the streets....and the dorm....and the classroom. And this was just one deranged murderer, imagine what a dedicated squad of suicide Islamofacists could have done! And lest you think that scenerio farfetched, remember that when they found that cache of terrorist computors in Iraq about a year or so ago?; the ones with the blueprints of several school building layouts?
The terrorists are thinking about how to make a Breslan style attack here in the US, we should do no less than to think about how to forestall such an event, and I believe in my heart that "civilian" assistance at the outset of any such attack could make the difference between a small casualty count and a huge one.
I hear you Sarah, you say, "what about Columbine? Access to guns caused that tragedy!"
All I can say is that in the mid-60's I carried a gun to High School on a regular basis, as did many other students, so as to avail ourselves of the R.O.T.C. firing range in the basement after school. No one panicked at the sight of a 16 or 17 year old walking into school with a .22 slung over his shoulder. (even though possesion of a firearm by a minor was and is technically illegal)
We never had a SINGLE incident of abuse of a weapon in the four years I attended that school...we would never have THOUGHT of firing at our fellow classmates or teachers..well maybe the teachers, but hell, we would have been afraid of what they might have been carrying to respond with...
We knew the possible deadliness of our weapons and we respected it, too bad the children of today don't. They seem to view weapons as a game toy, with the scene to be reset at the end of the carnage, and only ketchup spots on the floor to signify injuries. And why not? The Sarah Brady's of the world have precluded many wimpified parents from passing down their knowledge of firearms, lest they be branded as bloodthirsty child abusers.
The only experience that the kids get is in ultra-violent video games, where they can be blown up or receive multiple high power ammunition wounds and lose in a battle yet still live to fight another day.
We need to rethink the entire gun control scene and go back to our roots, where we were not only allowed to provide for our own self defense, but were EXPECTED to provide for that defense. That is one of the reasons behind the 2nd Amendment; our Founding Fathers were some pretty wise men; certainly they were far ahead of their time.

Update: The Emperor says it better than I ever could, in his own unbounded style, do yourself a favor and go read it.

Westboro Baptist "Church" WHY do we give these people the attention that they so obviously try to engender with their public antics? The very fact that they can spout their hate, especially at soldiers funerals, without reaping any just reward for it shows that we are really a (overly ?)tolerant society.

This woman is frightening. whats even MORE frightening is that she is the leader of the majority party, and as such may have some chance of enacting her idiotic ideas in the body politic.
Let's take a good hard look at what she wants:
Nancy Pelosi condemned the new record highs of the stock market as "just another example of Bush policies helping the rich get richer".
Guess she never heard of "rising water raises all ships".
"First Bush cut taxes for the rich and the economy has rebounded with new record low unemployment rates",
Which is EXACTLY the point; lower taxes raise revenues for EVERYONE; government included
"which only means wealthy employers are getting even wealthier at the expense of the underpaid working class".
??? Did this daft cow REALLY SAY this?!? just HOW did she go from "the economy rebounded; with the lowest unemployment rates in 10 years" to "only the rich benefit from this good economic news?"
She went on to say "Despite the billions of dollars being spent in Iraq our economy is still strong and government tax revenues are at all time highs."
HOW the HADES does she come to the conclusion that because we're engaged in a war that our economy must be in a dire strait?! And by the way take special note of the fact that "government tax revenues are at all time highs "...cut taxes, stimulate the economy; tax revenues RISE or as I say, "Reganomics WORKS".
"What this really means is that business is exploiting the war effort and working Americans, just to put money in their own pockets".
Ah yes, the main Progressive meme of the evil HaliburtonBushCoMilitaryIndustrialComplex profiting off of the suffering of the Little Brown People(tm) and the Ignorant Minorities duped into becoming Soldiers, sailors,Marines, and airmen(tm). WONDERED how long it would take her to bring that tired meme up...
When questioned about recent stock market highs she responded "Only the rich benefit from these record highs."
Guess Ms Pelosi considers everyone that tries to save for retirement with a 401K or IRA "rich"!
"Working Americans, welfare recipients, the unemployed and minorities are not sharing in these obscene record highs".
"Working Americans"...lets see, they are employed so that these "evil" companies can actually, you know, provide a product, good, or service;and earn a paycheck, and in turn can invest some of those paychecks into mutual funds,IRA's, or 401K's...you know...that booming stock market Ms. Pelosi is saying doesn't help any but the super rich
"Welfare recipients" Hmmm, government revenues have risen with the economic boom; ergo there are more funds availible to try to assist the indigent...or does Ms Pelosi believe that Leprechans are paying the tab for the welfare rolls?
"Minorities"? IF, as the Progressives hold to be true, that minorities suffer the worst in our economic system, it's obvious that a good economy is, ipso facto, better for minorities than a poor one; economics 101, which Ms. Pelosi must have either flunked out in, or never taken so as to preserve her Progressive purity of illogical thought.
"There is no question these windfall profits and income created by the Bush administration need to be taxed at 100% rate and those dollars redistributed to the poor and working class".
100% tax rate, money redistributed to the general populace from those that earn it.....I've always KNOWN that the Progessive agenda was Socialism, but I have to admit, it's refreshing for one of the top leadership to come out and state it so openly.
"Profits from the stock market do not reward the hard work of our working class who, by their hard work, are responsible for generating these corporate profits that create stock market profits for the rich."
The workers profit by their labor to the extent that they, or their union, negotiate for. Labor is a commodity just like any other, and profit and loss is determined by ability and demand for the comodity. As I stated above, the workers are free to invest any portion of their economic rewards they desire and reap the benefits of a high stock market as well as any high roller does.
"We in congress will need to address this issue to either tax these profits or to control the stock market to prevent this unearned income to flow to the rich."
"unearned income"? Excuse me, but the way the market works, an investor risks available cash funds on the chance that he'll receive a return on his investment. Take away the incentive of profit by overtaxing or trying to control where the profits go to, and you collapse the market entirely.....I suppose that the "poor" and "minorities" won't mind not having any opportunity to raise themselves economically, it's the principle of the thing, after all, and after the market collapses, all those evil rich will be poor too, and everyone can share in the same level of misery together. Incidentally, Ms. Pelosi, government control of the means of production and the profits of that production has been tried before; let's ask the Soviet Union how that worked for them, OH, thats right, the USSR's economy collapsed to the point where the nation became economically unviable. Of couse, failure of any sort is meaningless to the sociallistically minded, they KNOW that they are RIGHT,dammit, regardless of bad outcomes.
When asked about the fact that over 80% of all Americans have investments in mutual funds, retirement funds, 401K's, and the stock market she replied "That may be true, but probably only 5% account for 90% of all these investment dollars."
80% OF THE GENERAL POPULACE ONLY ACCOUNT FOR 5% OF THE TOTAL INVESTMENT DOLLARS?!? I may be mistaken here, but those figures don't make much sense to me, there must be a lot more super-billionaires than I had thought for that to be true.
"That's just more "trickle down" economics claiming that if a corporation is successful that everyone from the CEO to the floor sweeper benefit from higher wages and job security which is ridiculous".
No, Ms Pelosi, that's real world economics. Corporations are operated to make a profit, not to be welfare distributors. I admit that there are inequities, but generally speaking, unless there are profits, there are NO wages for ANYONE, from the CEO on down to that floor sweeper that your so concerned about.
Incidentially, I seem to recall that you were having some labor problems not too long ago...seems that the workers at a vineyard/wine co. YOU own were
dissatisfied with their wages/working conditions and wanted to unionize to better themselves, yet you weren't so eager to help the "working class" (out of your own pocket/company profits) then, were you?
"How much of this 'trickle down' ever get(s) to the unemployed and minorities in our county? None, and that's the tragedy of these stock market highs."
Ms Pelosi? Please, PLEASE. Stop and try to get those two brain cells of yours firing before you speak in public again. "Unemployed" MEANS that you don't get benefits from a company or the stock market, except for how much those entities contribute to the government coffers from which the poor are succored. Higher profits mean bigger contributions to the public coffers, making more funds available for the "poor". Your own contentions/assertions prove to anyone that has more than a passing knowledge of economics, social interactions, and personall motivations that you are incapable of rational thought. If you are the best that your party/movement has to offer for leadership, I weep for the future of our country.
"Wedemocratssocialists are going to address this issue after the election when we take control of the congress. We will return to the 60% to 80% tax rates on the rich and we will be able to take at least 30% of all current lower Federal Income Tax tax payers off the roles and increase government income substantially.
Return to 60-80% tax rates and watch the tax revenues dry up, you silly cow.
Those "30% of the lower level" of tax payers don't contribute much already, but with the loss of revenues by your confiscatory taxes, every penny will count, so I don't hold out much hope that you'll be able to drop anyone from the rolls, in fact you'll probably have take more from the "poorer" taxpayers.
In any case, your suggestions have been tried several times before, and in every case, resulted in bringing our economy to the brink of unrecoverable disaster. Whats the old saw?... something about the definition of insanity being repeating the same action over and over again and expecting a different outcome?
By it's own actions and proposed actions, your party, and by virtue of your being a leader of said party, have proven themselves to be insane.
"We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest."
Very well said, Comrad Pelosi. We of the Proletrariat need to rise up and shake off the shackles of the Bourgeois!
Oh excuse me, I got caught up in the rhetoric of the polemic didactic of the socialistic movement, which Comrad Pelosi certainly seems to be a major proponent of. You might want to read our history Comrad. NOWHERE in the founding documents is there any mention of guaranteeing equality of outcome, just a guarantee of opportunity to succeed, or FAIL, according to our own individual talents and efforts.
When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied "We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities."
1) Under your proposals, there will be a reduction of government revenue.
2) We are each responsible for our own standard of living, NOT the government. I'm all for giving a helping hand up to those in need, but I'm not responsible for providing the poor/minorities/unemployed with every wish they may desire. They have to earn a higher standard of living just as all of the rest of us have.
3) The fact that that the Progressive movement, in the person of one of it's leaders in Comrad Pelosi, insinuates that minorities can't raise their standard of living without government assistance shows that they are perpertrators of the bigotry of low expectations. I would be most offended were I member of one of said minorities.
"For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal (emp mind -D)immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as "Americans".
EXCUSE ME?!?! Comrad P., I don't believe that even the MOST socialistic country currently existing on Earth would feel responsible for the "standard of living" of criminals living off the opportunities existing in their country. In fact, in most Socialistic countries, such people would be fortunate if they weren't shot if discovered trying to enter the country, and imprisoned for long terms if discovered inside the country. "ILLEGAL" means just that, these people are breaking our laws just by being here and hence are criminals,NOT "Americans"; and in your proposal to succor them from the public treasury, you are abbetting a criminal act under color of authority, which makes you an accessory after the fact, and hence unfit to hold your position as a leader of the majority party. Somehow I don't think I'll hold my breath until you resign for these actions. Shame doesn't seem to affect politicians like it does those of us with a conscience in the general populace .
Update: Note:according to Snopes, Comrad Pelosi never made all these statements in one single speech, ergo consider this a satiric fisk of Idiotarianism in general.

I didn't know!
How could we?
Did you know that 47 countries' have reestablished their embassies in Iraq?
Did you know that the Iraqi government currently employs 1.2 million Iraqi people?
Did you know that 3100 schools have been renovated,
364 schools are under rehabilitation,
263 new schools are now under construction
and 38 new schools have been completed in Iraq?
Did you know that Iraq's higher educational structure consists of 20 Universities,
46 Institutes or colleges and 4 research centers,
all currently operating?
Did you know that 25 Iraq students departed for the United States in January 2005 for the re-established Fulbright program?
Did you know that the Iraqi Navy is operational?
They have 5 - 100-foot patrol craft, 34 smaller vessels and a naval infantry regiment.
Did you know that Iraq's Air Force consists of three operational squadrons,
which includes 9 reconnaissance and 3 US C-130 transport aircraft
(under Iraqi operational control) which operate day and night, and will soon add 16 UH-1 helicopters and 4 Bell Jet Rangers?
Did you know that Iraq has a counter-terrorist unit and a Commando Battalion?
Did you know that the Iraqi Police Service has over 55,000
fully trained and equipped police officers?
Did you know that there are 5 Police Academies in Iraq
that produce over 3500 new officers each 8 weeks?
Did you know there are more than 1100 building projects going on in Iraq?
They include 364 schools, 67 public clinics, 15 hospitals, 83 railroad stations,
22 oil facilities, 93 water facilities and 69 electrical facilities.
Did you know that 96% of Iraqi children under the age of 5
have received the first 2 series of polio vaccinations?
Did you know that 4.3 million Iraqi children were enrolled in primary school by mid October?
Did you know that there are 1,192,000 cell phone subscribers in Iraq
and phone use has gone up 158%?
Did you know that Iraq has an independent media that consists of 75 radio stations, 180 newspapers and 10 television stations?
Did you know that the Baghdad Stock Exchange opened in June of 2004?
Did you know that 2 candidates in the Iraqi presidential election had a televised debate recently?
OF COURSE WE DIDN'T KNOW!
WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW?
OUR MEDIA WOULDN'T TELL US!
Instead of reflecting our love for our country,
we get photos of flag burning incidents at Abu Ghraib
and people throwing snowballs at the presidential motorcades.
Tragically, the lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves two purposes:
It is intended to undermine the world's perception of the United States
thus minimizing consequent support,
and it is intended to discourage American citizens.

It's the final beginning of the end; John Bolton has tendered his resignation as the U.S. Ambassador to the U(seless) N(ations).
If we had had any chance to stop the headlong rush to internationalization; it's lost now. John Bolton was the type of man that always looked out for our national interest despite the pressures to "go along to get along". This is just the first consequence of electing a majority of far Leftists into the majority of both houses, and it won't be the last. I do fear however, that it may be one of the most consequential in regards to our national well being.
The U.N. is an organization that has proved time and again to be inimical to the interests of most of the civilized Nations of the world in general, and against the U.S.A. in particular. It has become the covert hammer used by tyrants and thugs to intimidate the Nations of the world into becoming their willing victims, lest they be visited with overt violence. We need men and women not afraid to stand up against this type of bullying, and John Bolton was just such a man.
Appeasement has never worked and WILL never work. We are in 1938 all over again, and now, just as then, all too few see the writing written large on the wall; they choose to ignore the clear warnings that the enemies of civilization are sounding in a claxon call of Jihadism and bloodshed throughout the world.
If we allow the leftist contingent to dictate the type of Ambassador we replace John Bolton with, we may just as well climb into the box and shut the lid on the greatest Republic the world has ever seen.

Ah, yes, Islam is such a PEACEFUL religion, after all, its adherants have something like THIS occur in their midst and not ONE of them will protest it happening, after all, that would be violent, wouldn't it?
Such evil crimes as teaching female children to read and write SHOULD be punished in as horrible a way as possible, otherwise, they just might get the idea that they are the equal of men, after all.
The only way I can respond to our own Islamic apologists is:
it's as adult as their idiocies deserve.

Then tell me why traces of super-enriched Uranium, and even worse, Plutonium, have been found in the waste tailings that the IAEA have inspected in Teheran? Mind you, the ONLY practical use for Plutonium is in Atomic warheads; it's just too dangerous for use in civilian power generating plants.....
But of course, the international community just turns a blind eye; saying that the amounts are too small to be of concern at present, indeed, some of the facilities for enrichment being constructed are being done so with UN funding aid.
I don't know about you, but the thought of a regime that has publicly stated that "soon the evil of the Zionist State will be totally eradicated" having access to nuclear materials of any sort is frightening, to say the least. To discover that they are processing nuclear materiel to the point of producing plutonium is totally unacceptable.
I had a discussion several weeks ago where my Ex-wife (Moonbattus Extremous) stated; "I don't know how you can continue to function normally, when you are operating in such a state of unreasonable fear" in regard to world affairs in the area of the Middle East. I responded that it WASN'T fear, but a state of heightened vigilence and awareness.
Tell me, is it unreasonable to be wary of a group that has continually and LOUDLY stated that their ultimate goal is the eradication of the United States; and in numerous incidents over the last 20 years has continually PHYSICALLY demonstrated not only that they are serious in accomplishing that goal, but has the physical will, technology, and expertise to do so?
And now allies of that group are becoming at least close to being able to provide nuclear weapons to the cause? Isn't the sane reaction to such an imminent threat at least a MODICUM of extra vigilence/preparedness?
My Ex, and by their recent post-election statements, apparently the majority of the Democratic Party, would say it was unreasonable....at least up to the moment that some sort of horrific attack did occur, and even then, would focus their efforts on trying to find whom to blame rather than respond in kind to the perpetrators of the action.
America, I cry for thee...we have become too comfortable in our own sense of invunerablity, even though that invunerablity has been shown to be a lie.
We have become too complacent and too out of touch with the grim reality that, "Yes Virginia, there ARE people out there that truly wish nothing more than an opportunity to slaughter us wholesale". We are unwilling to tear ourselves away from "Star Search" long enough to look around and really see what is happening around us. And those of us that ARE trying to sound the alarm are regarded as, at best, paranoid, and at worst, "War-Mongering Right Wing Idiologues"/Republicans/Religious Zealots...much as Churchhill was regarded when Neville Chamberlain stepped off the plane holding up a treaty with Chancellor Hitler and declaring "peace in our time"....what a difference six months made then; may it not be so this time as well.
The stakes are even higher this time around, and the outcome even more uncertain.

I fear that the scenario postulated in this article is all too possible. And we only have ourselves to blame if it DOES occur. Our enemies have repeatedly warned us of their intentions, and have demonstrated their ability and resolve to carry out those intentions, but all we have demonstrated is the lack of resolve that only the fat and lazy can truly rise to, coupled with a lack of logical, real world common sense, on the part of a large section of the Democratic party and it's sycophants.
May G-d have mercy on us, as our enemies surely won't.

I know it's something that has been around forever and will continue to be around. Sometimes, though, it just gets to me. Especially when things hit close to home. A few things have happened around here that I am not at liberty to discuss and have made me quite pissed off, so please forgive my ramblings in advance.
For sheer entertainment purposes, I sometimes pop into the chat rooms that are affiliated with my "domestic engineering" websites. Wow. Just wow. Now, I was raised to respect that people are different and that I will always find people that have a difference in opinion from myself. However, I was NOT raised to respect stupidity. Some of the thread titles alone are just that. Stupidity.
#1- "Do you think the reduction of gas prices is manipulation from the administration to remain in seat?"
Hmmm... please, please, please research what goes into gas prices, why it is what it is and why it was recently reduced BEFORE making a complete jackass out of yourself for G-d only knows how many other people. Also please refer to Mirriam-Websters online dictionary for the term, "PROFIT MARGIN". Next time you are shopping in stores like Michael's, think about that as you grab one of those fake trees whose markup is 350%.
#2- Blame Bush!
This mantra is old. Can we come up with something new to discuss? How 'bout this: is the fact that your IQ is lower than my garbage disposal based on genetics (are you predisposed to be a knuckle-dragging fool?) or was it more of an enviornmental thing (you were surrounded by idiots growing up?), or better yet, is it Bush's fault? That's it, asshats! Nature vs. Nurture vs. Bush, much more captivating.
#3- Bush lied, kids died. The war was unjustified. 9/11 was a conspiracy, and other statements that prove lack of frontal cortex activity
Conspiracy theorists: refer to this.
See libruls, we DO like science!
As far as the war being unjustified, I am very proud of our troops and think that their deployment was necessary. I know that it sucks, I have my brother on deck for deployment in January. I don't know about these single neuron baring fools, but I'm not fond of fighting these turban-twisted fucks on OUR streets. If Gore had gotten into office instead of Bush (remember 7 days does not equate to 9, please look up "algorithm" and give a hat tip to Elian Gonzalez while you're at it), if that administration took the wheel and had us pull out like a 17-year-old on prom night, we'd be screwed.
Religion of Peace, my ass. For more displays of "peace", refer to THIS. I know that the death toll is rising in the middle east, as happens in war, but quit bleating for a sec and look at those numbers. 400,000 killed in Darfur as an act of genocide. I don't see that number written on the back of the local moonbat's minivan parked at my college.
I digress, I know I'm preaching to the choir.
*sigh*

The Honorable Jimmy Carter
The Carter Center
453 Freedom Parkway
Atlanta, Georgia 30307
Dear Mr. President:
I just read the transcript of your interview with the German magazine, Der Spiegel, in which you accuse Israel of launching an "unjustified attack on Lebanon."
Even after the interviewer reminded you that Israel was the first to get attacked, you charged Israel with lacking "any legal or moral justification for their massive bombing of the entire nation of Lebanon."
As someone who served in the White House as a spokesman for a President, I am reluctant to criticize another President, but in this instance my conscience compels me to do so.
Mr. President, your words are music to Hezbollah's ears and your message is a blow to long-term peace.
Just as you underestimated the threat of the Soviet Union in the 1970s, you underestimate the threat of radical Islam today. Your condemnation of Israel, the victim, only encourages Hezbollah, the attacker, to bide its time and attack again.
Ahmed Barakat, a member of Hezbollah's central council, last week told the Qatari newspaper as-Watan that "Today Arab and Muslim society is reasonably certain that the defeat of Israel is possible and that the countdown to the disappearance of the Zionist entity in the region has begun. The triumph of the resistance is the beginning of the death of the Israeli enemy."
I was raised a Democrat but I changed parties in 1982 because I believed your policies and the nuclear freeze movement invited increased Soviet militarism and adventurism. President Reagan's military build-up and credible threat of the use of force helped bring about the demise of Communism and brought freedom and a better life to hundreds of millions in Central and Eastern Europe. It also secured a lasting peace.
I'm sorry to see you articulate about Hezbollah and its aggression the same weak world-view that encouraged Soviet aggression. As Ronald Reagan showed us, peace through strength is the only formulation understood by those bent on destruction.
I understand your longing for peace and your fond hope that Hezbollah can be reasoned with. However, when you call Israel's defense "an attack", when you call what is justified "unjustified", and when you call morality immoral, I conclude that the pro-defense, strong foreign policy lessons of the 70s and 80s remain unacceptable to you. Also, when you criticize Israel for targeting so-called "civilian" areas in Beirut and other areas where Hezbollah hides its operations, the result would be - if Israel listened to you - the creation of safe havens from which more violence and rocket attacks would be planned and launched.
Sadly, Hezbollah today is planning its next war. For the sake of peace, Israel deserves your praise, not your condemnation.
Sincerely,
L. Ari Fleischer
