It's long, but very well worth reading. I was not able to contact Mr. Kraft to obtain permission to post it, but I'm hoping that he'll be okay with it if he happens to notice. His message is just too important not to be disseminated as widely as possible. The parenthetical comment's are Chris's, with which I agree 100%.
Here's just a taste:
The liberal mentality is supposed to favor human rights, civil rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc., but, if the Jihad wins, wherever the Jihad wins, it is the end of civil rights, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, diversity, etc. Americans who oppose the liberation of Iraq are coming down on the side of their own worst enemy.
Now go read the rest. more...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 25, 2006
Senate Should Focus on Prevention, Not Punishment
Senate set to vote on divisive Child Custody Protection Act while continuing to block commonsense measures to prevent teen pregnancy
Washington, DC— Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, called on the Senate to protect our young people's safety and vote against the so-called "Child Custody Protection Act" later today. This divisive and controversial legislation would prohibit any adult other than a parent—including a grandparent, aunt, adult sibling, or member of the clergy—from accompanying a young woman across state lines for abortion care if the home state's parental-involvement law has not been met.
“Abortion care”? This one is starting out good already. Guess that’s to be expected while perusing a pro-neurotic website.
"We all agree that teens in trouble should talk to their parents, and thankfully, most do. However, if they can't, for whatever reason, their safety is the most important thing," Keenan said. "The American public wants teen pregnancy prevented, not punished. This bill does nothing to protect young people or promote communication between teens and their parents."
While I do agree that the teen in questions safety is a priority, I found it quite peculiar that the statement was made to the effect of a “teen pregnancy prevented” while discussing abortion. Umm, excuse me, if they are talking about the kid getting an abortion, then most obviously there was NO prevention, correct? Maybe instead of funding pork projects such as Velvet Vulvas, they should be teaching a little more abstinence until marriage.
Keenan also said today's legislation further exposes how out of touch Sen. Bill Frist and his anti-choice allies are with the American people's priorities.
I like the euphemism “anti-choice” that’s being used here. While we’re at it, we’ll just change your party name to “pro-DEATH”, m’kay? Nothing like standing on your soap box caterwauling about how many have died in Operation Iraqi Freedom (2,700- God Bless them and their families) while your comrades are sticking fork-like tines into the back of a fetus’ skull whose gestational age is older than that of babies in the NICU. Hey, YOU’RE the ones that found the word “privacy” somewhere in our constitution.
"If Sen. Frist and his anti-choice colleagues honestly want to protect our teens, they should stop blocking votes on commonsense measures to prevent unintended pregnancies and reduce the need for abortion. Congress should fund programs that provide honest, realistic sex education, teach young people about the serious responsibilities that accompany parenthood, and stop slashing budgets for after-school programs that keep kids out of trouble and on the road to success. Prevention - not punishment - is the better path for the Senate to take."
Yep, good olÂ’ Planned Parenthood. Teaching our females that itÂ’s OK to have sex with men you donÂ’t particularly like.
Keenan said the United States, where 866,000 teenagers become pregnant each year, has the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the Western industrialized world. She cited an amendment that Sens. Robert Menendez and Frank Lautenberg, both Democrats from New Jersey, are planning to offer that would fund teen-pregnancy-prevention programs in schools and community groups, pilot programs to teach young people about the serious responsibilities that come with parenthood, and programs that help parents talk to their kids about tough topics like sex. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) intends to offer an amendment that would exempt grandparents and clergy members from prosecution. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) plans to offer an amendment that would exempt young women who are victims of incest, a tragic situation for which today's legislation has no exception.
Absolutely spot on. Teaching our children how to slip condoms on an overripe banana is definitely going to drop those rates! Do you think Maury Povich would be out of business soon after for lack of women needing paternity testing? (Just admit it, you secretly like it when he says “You are NOT the father” to the 6th guy!) Better idea: hire Monica Lewinsky to advocate for our teen pregnancy prevention classes! Better to take our little darlings to the pharmacy to pick up Lithromax for an oral STD, right?

Atlas goes on with a great breakdown of what is happening With Israel and Hezbullah in the Middle East, and WHY it is happening, and the dangers posed by the moral equivilency rampant in the MSM today in forming public opinion.

I've given keys to the Citidal to two people I really enjoy talking to.
I don't know when/how often they may come in and put their two cents in, but be on the lookout for future posts from Beth and Jackboot.
Beth is new to the posting side of blogging, but she has a hell of an insight and a great brain to match. About time we got a woman's views in here.
Jackboot is a contributor to the C.I.A. blog, and I'm sure you'll find his posts to be thought-provoking, to say the least.

Well, here for your edification, Neil Boortz (head Minister of the Church of the Painful Truth) gives an excellent demonstration of a cluebatting™ towards a Muslim Moonbat caller to his show

Like one commenter noted: "it reminds me of the transient sand paintings done by Buddist Lamas":
I like his Texas politics too...
And if I didn't know better, I'd think he was paying homage to GuyK:

But just to prove that Wade is a true artiste, he reproduces two of the classics, Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" and Van Gogh's "Starry Night":
Too much free time, or a devoted artiste? I just give you the links, the opinion on that, you have to decide for yourself.

If you've never read the "Winger" series of cartoons, give yourself a treat and start from the beginning. You just may want to buy some of his original artwork too. Carson Fire deserves to get our support in his endeavors to become established as a full time cartoonist.

All in all it was a pleasant afternoon spent. Even if I did have an unfortunate tendendcy to call my "first" family by my "second" family's names, which lead to some awkard pauses in conversation. Erin and I plan on having a father/daughter afternoon on Wednesday..maybe go go see a movie, if we can ever come to an agreement on what to go see. I managed to keep my mouth shut about politics, so there were no tearful anger tantrums. I wish I could do that more often, it makes for a much better time.
Erin is a moonbat, and she considers me a Conservative Facist, so those types of discussions are never an excercise in having a good time, but I have an unfortunate tendency to try to bring up the latest controversy of the day, because that is where my interests lie ...guns, politics, and the politics of guns.
I guess I'm just socially stunted.....I should know better at my age, but dammit, I'm just too old to censor my speech or quail at the thought that a topic may be too "controversial".
Enough for now, I'm going to go try and boil my first batch of peanuts, and pray that they come out to a close approximation of Catfish's. I've been having a real hankering for them ever since I got back from Georgia, and salt content or not, I'm giving in to the yen.

It's good to get home, but I miss Georgia and the people there more than I care to admit.
Catfish and Nancy: THANK YOU. You really made this "damned Yankee" feel that he was at home...no more than that. You made me feel like family, and for that I'll be forever grateful.
I'll have to temper my thankfullness with the fact that you've hooked me on something that I can't get here, and i'm strictly forbidden to eat anyway....BOILED PEANUTS. (I managed to find Harveys; got 13 lbs to tuck away in my luggage....5 lbs of which are boiling as we speak..) hell with the docs; their damned Yankees that don't know their ass from a gater wallow anyway. LMAO
Stevie, don't let (*****) get to you. Stop playing her game and giving her that power. And remember, we have a date in Tampa in February
.
I'm forever grateful that I was able to attend Acidman's last hurrah on this plane of existence. I think it did him proud. The mere fact that so many came from so far was a testament to his memory, and one that I will cherish always.
