Dude, whereÂ’s my credibility?

Lets see.....He appoints tax evading retreads for all of his cabinet positions...he reveals memo's that damage the security of the United States....he talks about U.S. "culpability" and "hubris" while ostensibly representing the U.S. as POTUS on foreign soil....he puts our great grandchildren in debt to "bailout" private companies and then uses those bailouts as leverage to control those companies...his chief of Homeland Security intimates that veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are prime suspects of being "homegrown terrorists"(as is ANYONE that might have the temerity to disagree with Teh One's policies)....Yeah, I would say that any credibility that you MIGHT have had at one time is just about shot, Mr. Resident.

Yes, Virginia, I am A Terrorist!

Photobucket

At least by the latest standards put forth in the latest threat assessment report by the DHS.....

Since by the standard's of the report; ALL of our Founding Fathers would be dangerouse Right-wing extremists and/or Terrorists, I feel that I'm in great company and am honored beyond expression to be considered thus by the ilk of tyrannical types that constitute the present U.S. government.

How about you? Are YOU a terrorist and don't even know it?

Tea Party Part Tres

Photobucket

The Tea Parties, contrary to the MSM blather, were NOT about Party affiliations; they were about the fact that a large percentage of the population is not content to follow President Obama's foray into Socialism.

BOTH Parties share equal blame; indeed, WE share in the blame for allowing this state of affairs to progress to the point it exists today, and it is up to US to set things straight. THAT is the message of the Tea Parties.

Tea Party, Part Deux

Well, I arrived at the south lawn of the Indiana Statehouse 45 minutes before the scheduled start of the Indianapolis Tea Party and was gratified to see the large turnout already there before me, and with a continuing swell of newcomers as the event progressed. Local radio celebrity Greg Garrison gave a great speech on our responsibilities as Citizens in a free Republic, followed by speeches by several people, who, like me, were American Citizens by their own choice instead of by birth. Those speeches were very inspirational, and then came the coup de gras; a speech from the past by "Thomas Paine" of 'Common Sense' fame. (well, famous if you've read your American history; something that all too few students have done in these PC times...)

Mr. Paine reiterated the cry from 230 years ago that "when a government becomes too oppressive upon it's people it is the right, nay the DUTY, of those people to rise up and take the freedom that is their birthright back from the oppressors; through the ballot box if possible, and by force of arms if need be.
He excoriated us as being too self-interested in our own personal welfare to be good stewards of the liberties that his generation had risked everything for to be able to bequeath to us. He was correct in every statement he made.

THE question now is: WHAT do WEdo?

Here are some suggestions of actions WE all should take:

1. Become politically involved; become aware of just who the players are and what they are up to.

2. STOP being afraid of being called "Racist", "Xenophobic", or "Unfair" for espousing those tenants that our Founding Fathers held dear. Political Correctness is nothing more than code words for "things Progressives/Liberals/Socialists/Communists don't like". STOP playing THEIR game and start standing up for what this country was founded upon.

3. Remember that "equal opportunity" does NOT mean "equal results"; there is NO guarantee of results, and there is nothing FAIR about taking from those that produce to give to those who won't. Help a person who needs it to rise above his temporary poor circumstance, by all means, but DON"T support him in those circumstances.

4. Remember that the government that is powerful enough to give you everything you desire is the same government powerful enough to take it all away at it's whim.

5. Take a moment every day and give thanks to whatever Deity/Principle you perceive as the Creator that we have had the good fortune to live in a land where we can do so without coercion or censure. Learn about our Judeo-Christian heritage - it is the reason our Republic was founded with the principles that are at its essence. Without that background, those principles cannot be maintained and the Republic shall fall.

Tax Day

Photobucket

Tomorrow is Tax Day, and across the Nation there is a storm brewing in the (TEA)pot.

Here in Indianapolis there will be a Tea Party on the Statehouse lawn from 1630 through 1830 hrs. I will certainly be there.

Please, check to see where there will be a Party near you, and BE THERE.

It is your duty as a responsible Citizen to do everything in your power to rein in an out of control government.
