Quote of the day

Progress isn't made by early risers. It's made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something.

Quote of the Day

"Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington, and they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them all a cow!"

Welcome Back Tiger!

Tony "the tiger" Snow is back from his battle with disease, and he's come back hitting the ground running!

Seems that when the Dhims are trying to conduct a cover-up on what may be the worst scandal in the last twenty years, the MSM just isn't too interested.

Even the most rabid Liberal should be concerned when there is evidence of the IRS being used as a private goon/protection squad...wait WHAT am I thinking? Liberals only worry that THEY aren't receiving enough from the public largess, they don't worry about taxes; thats the provence of the "rich".

Suffice it to say, if they could tie this to a Republican figure, they would be screaming for full disclosure as of yesterday, instead, their failed darling, Sen. John Al Querry, is in the middle of the cover-up to try to prevent any facts coming to the light of day. Just remember Senator, this may be the straw to break the Clinton camels back, I'd think you would want the facts to come out; to eleminate Hildy as competition, if not for the reason of telling the American people the truth. Unless, maybe YOU were aided in some manner by this misuse of government power? Doesn't seem to be any evidence of that as of yet, but since Cisneros was one of the Clinton cronies, there is certain to be facts come out that would certainly be embarrassing to the junior Senator from New York.

Maybe your hoping for the VP slot when she attempts her assumption of the Presidency?

Some Tax Day quotes

In honor of the annual Reaming of the Citizenry Day™ otherwise known as Tax Day, here are a few pithy quotes:

“The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.”
--Vladimir Lenin

“In general, the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one party of the citizens to give to the other.”
--Voltaire

“Virtually everything is under federal control nowadays except the federal budget.”
--Herman E. Talmadge

“Government does not tax to get the money it needs; government always finds a need for the money it gets.”
--Ronald Reagan

“When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”
--Benjamin Franklin

“The government is like a baby’s alimentary canal, with a happy appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other.”
--Ronald Reagan

“A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.”
--George Bernard Shaw

Thanks to James Hudnall, from whom I stole borrowed these quotes, go there to read some more.

"Â…though liberals do a great deal of talking about hearing other points of view, it sometimes shocks them to learn that there are other points of view."

Quote of the day

"Anyone who clings to the historically untrue--and thoroughly immoral-- doctrine that 'violence never solves anything' I would advise to conjure up the ghosts of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington and let them debate it. The Ghost of Hitler could referee, and the jury might well be the Dodo, the Great Auk, and the Passenger Pigeon. Violence, naked force, has settled more disputes in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Breeds that forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and freedoms."
-Robert Heinlein

Quote of the day

A man who cannot defend himself is an invalid, worthy of pity and forbearance.
A man who will not defend himself is a parasite who exists at the expense of others who will.
A man who may not defend himself is a slave, doomed to bare existence at the pleasure of his masters.

Quote of the Day

'She is clever, charming, articulate, fluent in French and, when occasion demands, flirtatious. More to the point, she is right.'
